The monument to San Martín is one of the more beautiful
classic groups than they have left the modern sculpture, and
has the special merit of being of a severe taste and completely
characteristic of the man who represents. Everybody will recognize
in that modest soldier who were, however, to the liberator
of half of a world, the austere simple commander in chief
of Chile ". |
